Originally by: Gavin DeVries The last time I saw anything about it, Battleclinic's excuse for a killboard was tracking everything killed and lost by Standards and Practices. Doing a search for Imperial Commonwealth there produces this result. I see 19 total kills there, not a single one against an assault ship. If you're referring to the affair of 10/18, you got Zedrik's Brutix and a pair of Merlins, which the last time I checked was a tech 1 frigate rather than an assault ship. Nor do I see any industrials anywhere on there.
What you'd need to do, if the kills you're referring to are not posted, is copy them from your corporate tab (they're under Wars, subtab for recorded kills) and paste them to Battleclinic (or another killboard if you have one).
I feel I should set the record straight, as The Imperial Commonwealth's published combat records represent only part of their actual losses. While Peregrine Industries normally refuses to publish official combat records as a statement of protest against certain authorities in New Eden (in response to unjust accusations of criminal activity and exile of Peregrine Industries pilots from CONCORD-patrolled space), I will make an exception to this policy.
On the 6th of September, my sister Sera Ryskin, acting on intelligence provided by contacts in the Caldari Navy, engaged a Drake belonging to Joe Phoenix in the Otsasai system. Her fast scout frigate was unable to seriously damage the battlecruiser (CareCorp battleships were available, but considered too slow to intercept the target), and she submitted a formal request for aid to Peregrine Industries. A Chimera-class carrier under my command jumped in to assist, and Joe's Drake was quickly destroyed, along with his escape pod.
Official records of the battle are provided here: Drake and escape pod.
It is the position of Peregrine Industries that the Imperial Commonwealth suffers from a serious lack of leadership. Not only is Joe Phoenix dishonest in his presentation of his corporation's combat record, but CareCorp's war with the Imperial Commonwealth revealed other serious flaws. I believe that the IEEE has done a good job of documenting these flaws, so I will limit myself to one further comment on this subject:
Joe's claims of victory over CareCorp are pure fiction. The Imperial Commonwealth suffered ship losses along with complete destruction of morale to the point that their brave "leader" was unwilling to even undock (despite repeated threats to attack CareCorp pilots). CareCorp only allowed the CONCORD-approved hostilities for two reasons:
1) The previously mentioned morale failures had rendered the Imperial Commonwealth incapable of combat, and only willing to undock when fitted with sufficient warp core stabilizers to ensure an immediate escape. Due to the near-zero chances of scoring further kills, the additional CONCORD fees would make any further sanctioned hostilities a net loss to CareCorp's budget.
2) Due in part to the actions of CareCorp, a dissatisfied Imperial Commonwealth director split off from the Imperial Commonwealth, taking all of the employees (except for Joe Phoenix himself, of course) with him. Immediately afterward, a spy stole the Imperial Commonwealth's entire corporate accounts. With these events a matter of public record thanks to the IEEE, CareCorp's objective of destroying the Imperial Commonwealth and all credibility of its CEO was judged to be complete. ----------- FREE ABATHUR - HAVING GOOD 0.0 IDEAS IS NOT A CRIME.
